Characters

Auburn Puzzle Patrol was unique in the fact that seven main characters, three Puzzle Patrol guides and the four evil members of the Enigmatic Legion, interacted with each other and the teams throughout the day.

The Commissioner

Played by Steven Clontz

Tapped by the Worldwide Puzzle Patrol Consortium and the mayor of Auburn, your Commissioner is dedicated to the goal of organizing Auburn’s first ever Puzzle Patrol: a superhero group to protect the loveliest village on the plains.  He’s a fresh graduate of the Puzzle Patrol Commissioner Academy and is (perhaps too) excited to be organizing his first ever Puzzle Patrol here in Auburn. While occasionally a bit scatterbrained, he always pulls through in the end for the good guys.

The Butler

Played by Charles Pilman

While not a superhero himself, the Butler is a veteran of the superhero world, having seen action serving as the assistant to both the Justice Friends and the League of Superheroes, prior to work as the personal butler to superbillionaire Bruce Swyane.  He’s an old friend of the Commissioner’s, so he’s agreed to become the butler for the first ever Auburn Puzzle Patrol.  Despite his lack of superpowers, his wit and intellect are top-notch and his advice will be invaluable to any team who finds themselves stuck during their adventures.

The Butler

The Informant

Played by Alex Byaly

Not much is known about the Informant except that it was by his advice that the first ever Auburn Puzzle Patrol was formed.  With many ties to the super-villain underworld, perhaps this shady character isn’t to be trusted, but his knowledge of the ranks of evil is certainly a welcome addition.  And the Commissioner seems to trust him, so perhaps there’s not much to worry about…

The Villains

During the competition, Teams had the ability to unlock the dossier for each of the four Enigmatic Legion villains, which are now all unlocked for you here:

The News Feed

Maintained by Zachary Sarver

Included on the Console page was a Twitter feed where the seven characters interacted with each other and the players. While Butler, Informant, and the Commissioner would clarify rules and keep players updated with events, the four Villains taunted the players and that “bumbling” Commissioner.
